Agathe Reymond: a sunny spirit shining over a romantic field

The delicious fruity scents of spring are approaching. And it looks like the atmosphere is already scented with something new. Let’s soak up the scents from the garden of Agathe, founder of the Pretty Orange Blossom jewellery brand, whose glittering world is designed to make people shine, inside and out.

What if, through a piece of jewellery, you were also wearing the seal of a story? Agathe Reymond’s ambition is to leave an imprint through a unique prism: that of a brand synonymous with the gift of self.

An orange fragrance at the source

The story begins early. Agathe fell into the magic cauldron at an early age. She creates in an innate way to escape her darkest enemy: boredom. Because doing something with her hands was written in advance to channel her creative spirit, she honed her artistic sensibility with threads, beads and other pendants to give meaning to her life. It has to be said that this tradition comes directly from her blood. Her grandmother, herself a virtuoso painter, is one of the main and precious protagonists of her story, without whom she couldn’t find a better adviser in every path she takes.

In 2021, Agathe realised the ideas that had been growing inside her for so long. Pretty Orange Blossom tells the story of a piece of her being. The name of the brand obviously refers to its essence. The scent of this flower literally lulled her whole childhood through all her senses, etching itself forever in her memories. So she sees its sunny reflection in every creation, as if in a mirror.

In the name of Love

Agathe is a terribly romantic soul. Her anthem revolves around love, metamorphosing her feelings into jewellery as a personal, personalised statement. In the flowery language of the 21-year-old designer, love isn’t just about being in love with Prince Charming. L’Amour avec un grand A (meaning: Love with a big L) is about friendship, family, loyalty and sometimes the darker feelings that it paradoxically brings.

Since each collection reflects an experience based on a unique story, who better than Lady Diana to embody fashion par excellence? This emblematic figure, who was once the embodiment of love, is undoubtedly a genuine source of inspiration for Agathe.

Hope and melancholy

A cup of coffee, a chat with friends, a sweet addiction or a song can sometimes be a source of inspiration. The latest Straight to the Heart collection, released in March 2024, is an ode to an obsessive love at first sight, drawn from the depths of the designer’s own experience: ‘It’s a story that’s quite topical for me and close to my heart, it’s beautiful and sincere. It highlights the splendour of the beginning of an unexpected story. I’m going to reveal different facets of myself in it. It’s a real statement that I hope will touch everyone as much as it touches me. I’m happy to be writing a beautiful love story again.’

But don’t make no mistake. Although Agathe has chosen such a theme to guide her aspirations, she is by no means mawkish about it. Let’s enter the labyrinth of her heart through a melody to illustrate the BO of her life. Mathilda by Harry Styles is the perfect expression of this, with its gentle blend of hope and melancholy. In the end, everything is never linear in this quest for existence. And that’s where Agathe’s romanticism relates. All you have to do is let yourself be carried away by her emotions, and the most dazzling stories will emerge.
