Hotel Dracula: meet a horrifying multiverse

Dracula has decided: this summer of 2024 will be chilling! So far, the capricious weather has taken care of that, with temperatures worthy of a November, but the famous vampire will be taking over to make Paris tremble if the sun deigns to show up for even a day! 

At Galeries Montparnasse, a vast 600m2 irl field has been set up to allow the most adventurous to visit his hotel using a virtual reality headset. Not only do you feel like you’re there, but you can also join in with others. Everything is meticulously organised. So much so that 90 participants can be thrilled at the same time. Tried and tested: as well as discovering the new generation in a parallel world, the coordination is such that no visitor bumps into another as they pass each other in the hotel’s virtual corridors. 

The visit lasts 30 minutes, so it’s best to say a few prayers. In total immersion, the user will also be the main protagonist, making the experience interactive so that they can let himself go. Dracula is not a heartless monster after all. The little ones, however, will be spared the trauma ad vitam æternam. While the adventure is designed to be shared with friends and family, it is not open to under-10s.

To recover from such emotions, a lounge area is available with a café offering a wide range of drinks and some dreadful little snacks. There’s plenty of food and drink to satiate your appetite before playing a game of vintage video games in the dedicated area, or immortalising the moment by taking a few photos in the real-life setting, which is just as unusual as the experience in the parallel world.
